Description The case of I. G. Williams, et al., vs. Augustus Knofel, pending in the United States Circuit Court at Indianapolis, was yesterday transferred by Judge Drummond to this District, and it will be tried in this city at the next January term of the United States Circuit Court. The history of this case is as follows: A Mr. Williams owned the property now occupied by Mr. Knofel, the druggist, on Market street. He resided in Tennessee. During the rebellion he was an officer of the Confederate Government. His property in this city was confiscated and put up at public vendue, Mr. Knofel being the purchaser. After the war, Williams died, and his heirs instituted the present suit to recover from Mr. Knofel the property of their ancestor.
