Homicides in county surpass record

"This year, Floyd County had four shooting deaths and one stabbing death. Five people are currently in jail for murder or attempted murder charges relating to the five homicides.". There have been more homicides this year than any other, in people's memories; but "finding the record for the highest number of homicides in a year's time would be impossible".. "Beginning next year, the Floyd County Clerk's office will be able to track the number of murder cases filed in a year's time."
