Floyd County students keep singing

Recent cuts in the New Albany-Floyd Conty School Corp. did't hods back 37 students from doing they enjoy -- singing. Music insturctor for Hazelwood Middle School, Laura McDonald, siad she felt compelled to start the Floyd County Children's Choir after the school system cut elementary choir from its budget this year. McDonald has been teaching for 15 years and has taught elementary music for about 10 years. Photograph accompanies the article
