Former Floyd County Youth Symphony members planning special reunion

Stacey (Miles) Mecier was one of more than 100 students and chaperones who traveled to Romania in the summer of 1979. Under the direction of Rubin Sher and Don McMahel, the symphony played numerous concerts and learned about the country's culture and citizens. The group is planning a reunion next month to not only honor Sher and McMahel, but to also relive those memories.
