Fighting policy reviewed after four children arrested

A group of parents asked the NAFC Board of School Trustees last night to review its zero-tolerance policy when it comes to fighting. The policy came into question after four Highland Hills Middle School students were arrested, taken to Clark County Youth Center, and jailed for 24 hours. The parents were also surprised that the youth were taken to Clark County. Apparently, Floyd County no longer has an intake office. The board is reviewing the incidents.. see follow-up article on Fri. 10/29 pg 1
