Hickerson receives AARP community service award

Hickerson has received the AARP Andrus Award for Community Service. This is the association's most prestigious volunteer honor. She received the award recently during ceremonies sponsored by AARP Indiana. During the event, Hickerson also received the "Sagamore of the Wabash" - Indiana's highest citizen honor. The designation was arranged by State Sen. Connie Sipes.. Lists many activities in which Hickerson has participated.
