Group working to bring life back into downtown New Albany

The association was reformed by Karen & Rick (owners of the Pearl Street business Carmickle's Photography) the group has a new moiker, the New Albany Historic Business District Association; a mission statement; and a Web site ... the Carmickle's also write a newsletter for about 100 local businesses. The group's boundaries are West Tenth Street to Vincennes Road, the Ohio River to East Oak Street, including Cherry Street ... they hold monthly meetings in their official gathering place in the lobby of the White House Centre. The group has a steering committee comprised of the Carmickle's; Ted, PNC Bank; & Pam and Varie, Patch as Patch Quilt Shop
