Greenville citizen's group holds fund-raiser for future operations

The Greenville Concerned Citizens group has succeeded in having the Floyd County Board of Zoning Appeals deny the development of Heritage Springs subdivision. The group gathered more than 900 signatures to show the Zoning Board that they were opposed to the plan. This action affected the building of a wastewater treatment plant. The GCC convinced the FC Board of Commissioners to pass a moratorium on any new development until a new ordinance was approved.
