ISTEP by step

Students in 3, 6, 8 and 10th grades took the ISTEP test. Scores were similar to the scores last year. Most students scored above the state average except in grade 3.. The ISTEP exam next year will include Algebra I. 10th graders are expected to have knowledge of Algebra I.. Next year students in grades 4, 5, 6, 7 and 9 will be tested. This will be a better way of tracking a student's progress.
