Library hosts program on understanding food labels

Janet Steffens, consumer and family science health educator for Purdue Extension Service in Floyd County will give a presentation called "Understanding Food Labels" from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Strassweg Auditorium on December 10. Ms. Steffens will help participants be able to make wise choices when buying food. She will explain the importance of knowing the sodium content, fiber, fat grams, and other information for choosing healthy food
