Fairmont Center to serve those with multiple needs
"The Fairmont Co-Locate Center is a partnership between the New Albany Redevelopment Commission, Rauch, Inc., New Albany-Floyd County Head Start and Neighborhood Public Service Center Development Corporation. The center will house multiple tenants to offer a variety of services to the elderly, single parents, those without transportation and others.". "The plan is to rehabilitate the current Rauch building at 2520 Shrader Ave.". "The Corradino Group conducted a study that found that three centers could be used in New Albany, as well as two satellite centers. The first co-locate center was the Brown-Starks Neighborhood Place, 1200 Bono Road".. "The final center will be in the east end of New Albany, possibly in the Silver Street area." (Planning for this center hasn't begun yet.)
