Indiana may allow tolls without approval

A tansportation bill has passed out of Indiana's Senate by of vote of 37-12 and will go to the House of Representatives, which would allow for tolls to be imposed on road projects without General Assembly approval. Senate Bill 473 would allow public and private agreements to be entered into for certain highway projects without legislative recognition until July 1, 2015, according to the bill's digest on the Indiana General Assembly website
