Float therapy planned for holistic center

Float centers, once riding languidly on the fringes of society, have crashed into the mainstream recently, with at least two popping up across the river in Louisville. These spa-like facilities where customers can float on their backs in tanks filled with warm saltwater are billed as peaceful places where successful meditation, as well as relief from bodily pain, are less than two hours of relaxation away. Kim Hannan, an instructor at Inner Springs Yoga, along with her husband, Graham, are intent on bringing the go-with-the-float lifestyle to Southern Indiana. Their venture will be just one of several services offered at the future Kula Center, a holistic health "oasis," coming to 802 E. Market St. by this January. See article for more.
