Home owners garner state preserviaton award

Eli and Alonna Beardsley have received state recognition for their work in reviving their historic New Albany home -- the Michael C. Kerr House located at 1109 E. Main St.. Kerr was a former speak of the U.S. House who had the home built in 1864. The Beardsley's have been recognized locally for their accmplishment as the couple received a 2010 Facelift Award form the New Albany Historic Preservation Commission.
