Floyd Solid Waste names interim director

Lopp, who serves as director of Floyd Cunty operations, was unanimously approved as inerim director of Floyd County Solid Waste on Tuesday afernoon at a special meeting. The move was made until the board decides which direction to take the program. The director's position has been vacant since the solid waste board boted 4-3 to terminate Warren Nash on March 18; he held the postiion for the past seven years
