Floyd YMCA expansion design gets city OK

A gymnasium and outdoor water park will be included in the expansion design of the Floyd County branch of the YMCA of Southern Indiana. Citing the success of the facility since it opened in 2008, the New Albany Redevelopment Authority commissioned the Estopinal Group to design another phase centering around the Y that could entail a public swimming facility. The Estopinal Group is being paid $34,000 to plan a 20,000-square-foot YMCA facility to house a gymnasium , walking track and locker room
