Four of city's six council districts contested

Democrats seeking primary win as Republicans face no opposition. No Republicans are facing opposition in the New Albany May primary May 3, but four of the city's six council districts feature contested Demotratic races wher candidates will have to defeat members of their own party to advance to the November general election. District 1 is Dan Coffey vs. Vicki Denhart. District 2 is Bob Caesar vs. Donnie Blevins. District 3 is Greg Phipps vs. Steve Price. District 5 is Diane McCartin-Benedetti vs. Randy Smith
