Hoops and happiness

Saturday mornings in downtown New Albany are usually busy as people visit the Farmers' Market, but yesterday many people were doing more than just going to the market. As they flooded Bank Street on Saturday morning, people of all ages were swinging their hips at the second annual Hula Hoop Party. The Hula Hoop Party -- organized by the non-profit organization World Hoop Day, which donated hula hoops to children around the world -- has something for everyone including face painting, music, the Bubble Bus for kids to play in and of course, lots of hula hooping.
