Foundation helps schools fund field trips

Jerry Finn, executive director of the Houseshoe Foundation, said his organization provided a $20,000 grant for NA-FC elementary schools to use for the 2010-11 school year. Finn said the program, which started Oct. 15, completely funds the field trips without parents providing out-of-pocket expenses, except for souvenirs. Finn said the field trips are scheduled to coincide with what schools are teaching to each grade level
