Let's talk TARC

Transit Authority of River City, or TARC, is proposing cutting 10 routes across the Louisville metropolitan area -- three of which serve Southern Indiana -- as a means of offsetting a budget shortfall brought on by the recession. Route No. 69X, the New Albany Express; Route No. 70X, Clarksville Express; and Route No. 73X, Charlestown Road Express are among those that would be cut if the proposal is approved by TARC's Board of Directors. If the changes are made, they would go into effect Feb. 21
