Louie Jensen, Floyd Central High School principal, said the International Baccalaureate program could help students and teachers and give higher marks on state evaluations for the schools. Jensen said the program is like Advanced Placement, but more rigorous and comprehensive. Students would choose a subject from one of six subject groups and focus their studies, then complete final exams and an encompassing 4,000 word essay defending their knowledge of the subject
