Society members hear about lives of state's governors

Review of history of the Indiana governors was given at the last meeting of the Floyd County Historical Society.. Ashbel Willard of New Albany took the office of governor in 1857. His home in New Albany (on East Spring Street) was torn down when New Albany Junior High School was built. (The Junior High School was recently torn down.)
