Robert Applegate was a charter member of the commission. Mr. Applegate's memory was honored by the Greenway board with a plaque presented to his widow, Jan Applegate. As an architect, Mr. Applegate's skills were used by the commission.. Photograph of Mrs. Applegate accompanies the article.
