Two new chaplains named to New Albany police

Two department chaplains were named to assist police officers who deal with critical situations. They are Rev. Vince Garmon and Rev. Arthur Cortez. The men will be provided with cellular phones so they can be reached when needed. After Officer Laura Schook was stabbed Mayor Garner, Anthony Toran and Police Chief Merle Harl discussed the idea of adding chaplains..
