Preparation under way for flooding

The Indiana side of the Ohio River is higher than the Kentucky side. Flood stage is defined as 23 feet at the locks. Yesterday's crest was 2.2 feet above flood stage. Precautions are being taken to keep people away from the river's edge where they could be hit by driftwood or carried along by the current.
