Tax revenue for NA-FC schools down $1 million
The projected property tax revenue for 2003 was $1 million less than expected. The general fund was $472,000 less and the capital projects fund was $199,000 less than projected.. May school board elections guidelines were given. The transition will be complete from an appointed board to an elected board.. Kindergarten schedules were approved for 2004-2005. S. Ellen Jones, Fairmont, Pine View, Lillian Emery and Green Valley will have full day kindergarten. Other schools will offer kindergarten 3 days a week.. Carolyn Bell, principal of Lillian Emery announced her resignation effective February 13. An interim principal will be named for the rest of the current year.
