Officers unhappy with Overton's ride-alongs

Every Friday for four weeks, Mayor Overton has ridden with a New Albany police officer for two hours in the afternoon.. Officers refusing to allow the mayor to ride with them face possible suspension for violating a direct order.. The mayor has stated she did not ride earlier because the city and police were in arbitration over labor contracts.
