Retiring with honor

Chef de Gare John Prow of the 40/8 Rivr Ratz carried tattered flags to the fire during a flag disposal ceremony held outside. American Legion and VFW members honored the flags, and President Reagan, before the old flags were burned. Today is Flag Day.. Photograph accompanies the caption.
