A seven-lot subdivision near Greenville became one of the first tests of the new subdivision control ordinance, as it was rejected Monday by the Floyd County Plan Commission. The ruling dealt with a requirement in the new ordinance, approved in January, that driveways in a subdivision must connect to an internal road rather than a county or state road..
