The 1973 heroes come home

1973 Team: Julius scored 25 points and Norman scored 21, New Albany won 84-79 against South Bend Adams. Seven out of the 12 came back to be honored, those who attended Friday's festivities were: Bill Finley, a starting guard on the '73 team and current assistant coach at NAHS; Mike Carter, the teams sixth man; Norman Mukes; Bob Grant; Rick Haws; Howard McLean and Dave Townsend. Julius Norman; Dale Slaughter; Don Perry; Charlie Mitchell and Marty Yeager were unable to attend. Kirby Overman, who was the 1973 coach. Date listed on newspaper page is incorrect.
