Underground Railroad stop receives marker

A historical marker was unveiled at 300 E. Main Street where the Second Street Baptist Church is located. People helped runaway slaves to escape to the north during the 19th century -- not everyone who tried to escape succeeded.. Photograph accompanies the article.
