Silver Street school to pull itself together

An enclosed walkway will be built between the two buildings at Silver Street Elementary School.. Also at the School Board meeting...Nancy Marone of the Indiana State Teachers Association asked to represent the maintenance and custodial employees in the corporation during collecting bargaining. (Chemical Workers Union has also made this request. The board did not make a decision at this meeting.). The school corporation made AYP (adequate yearly progress), but several of its schools didn't.
