Transportation projects could be in the future

A park and ride lot off Exit 1 on I-65 is one suggestion for conservation. Air education for businesses is another suggestion. New Albany will hire a consultant to recommend bicycling and walking opportunities. New Albany is also seeking enhancement funds for Scribner Place Pedestrian Plaza to link downtown with the waterfront. Jeffersonville would like to utilize a 4-mile segment of inactive railroad right-of-way.
