Reconstruction bid for highway garage accepted

The garage was damaged by fire in March. Kevco Construction in Louisville was awarded the bid to reconstruct the Floyd County Highway Garage. Not only did the building sustain damage, but vehicles, tools and equipment were destroyed in the blaze. The new garage will have the added benefit of masonry walls. The building is located along Old Georgetown Road
