Two new Floyd Memorial board members appointed

The Floyd County Commissioners recently selected Diane Murphy and Dr. James McCullough to the board. Paoli Pike will remain closed from Flemar Drive to U.S. 150 until repairs are completed on a section of the road which caved in following heavy rain last Thursday and Friday; the road could be closed for two weeks. Harrison County once again signed an interlocal agreement to share 2 percent of its riverboat revenue with Floyd County. The Floyd County Commissioners passed an ordinance to increase the fee for a death, birth and genealogy certificate from $7 to $10; copies of those certificates can be purchased at the Floyd County Health Department
