Providence basketball team banned from IHSAA tournament

Two rules of the High School Athletic Association were broken. The first broken rule was Administrative Responsibility and the coach will be replaced. The second broken rule was a scholarship fund for basketball players that was set up for them alone and not offered to the rest of the students. The scholarships were given to lure prospective players to enroll in Providence.
