Trial starts for teacher accused of sodomy

Opening statements start today in the trial against Mark Yarmey, a Floyd County teacher accused of sodomy with an 11-year-old girl in Louisville. Yarmey, who taught at Prosser School of Technology in New Albany, was arrested in spring 2008 and later indicted on the sodomy charge, as well as use of a minor in a sexual performance.
