Resources but no results

After three years of the Resources for Results committee meeting and discussing options, including the possibility of closing Pine View and Silver Street elementaries, the School Corporation held a series of public hearings to allow people to voice their opinions. Then, at Superintendent Dennis Brooks' last board meeting, he recommended that the district not close a school by the following August of 2009. He also made a recommendation to start another group -- a visioning team -- to create a 10-year plan for the corporation
