On someone else's dime

A New Albany company has been selected to refurbish the city-owned Baptist Tabernacle building which has been exposed to the elements since its roof was torn away by hurricane-force winds in September of 2008. Keystone Restoration will receive the property, located at 318 E. Fourth St., for $1 in exchange for footing all restoration expenses. The New Albany Redevelopment Commission approved the deal Tuesday, giving the company up to two years to make improvements. Photographs accompany the article
