Third suspect arrested in carjacking, kidnapping

A thirds suspect in a series of alleged crimes in Jeffersonville on Aug. 12, including kidnapping, car jacking, and robbery, has been arrested. Anthony T. Scott, 23, was arrested Thursday afternoon by Jeffersonville Police during his appointment at Floyd County Community Corrections, according to Detective Lt. Todd Hollis with the Jeffersonville Police Department. Scott had evaded capture for nearly two weeks after his alleged involvement in the incidents. Two other suspects, Chance M. Miles, 22, and Taylor M. Torstrick, 20, were arrested Aug. 13. See article for more.
