Shooting suspect appears in court

A suspect in the shooting of a 19-year-old man Friday in New Albany appeared in court Wednesday for an initial hearing. Kedar Murrell, 18, was arrested Friday and now faces two felony charges and three misdemeanors related to allegations that he shot and wounded a man during a confrontation in the area between the 1700 block of Culbertson Avenue and Oak Street.
