Trash fire results in door damage

Lafayette Township firefighters had to damage the door of an unfinished Floyds Knobs restaurant Friday night when a trash can caught fire. The future El Nopal restaurant located in a new strip mall along North Lafollette Station Drive did not have a key box yet, which allows firefighters to enter a building when it is locked.
