Accidents
James, son of John E. Noyes, aged about 14 years, was thrown from a horse near the corner of Lower First and Spring streets, yesterday evening, and severely injuring him on the head. He was carried to his father's residence, near by, and is suffering greatly from the fall. The boy was riding the horse to the pump to water him, and a bucket in the boy's hand scared the horse so that he suddenly jumped, throwing him forcibly to the stony street.
