Accidents
One day last week, while Thomas C. Potts, of Posey township, Harrison county, was attempting to take a large, heavy harrow off a wagon, the harrow fell, by some means, with such force as to drive the butt-end of one of the teeth entirely through his foot, carrying with it a piece of leather from his boot. For several days the pain was so intense that his friends almost despaired of his life, but we learn that he is slowly mending. Mr. P. is one of the most estimable young men in the county, and his many friends will regret to learn that he will probably be a cripple for life.
