Obituaries

Mr. Thomas Beard, a son of George Baird, an old and well-known resident of this county, died on Sunday night at the Insane Asylum, at Indianapolis. His remains will be brought to this city tonight, and from here they will be taken to the family burying ground, near Elizabeth, Harrison county.. [Note: the last name is spelled both ways in the article; he is buried at Rogers Campground in Harrison county under the name Baird.]
