George Renn, a former well known resident of this city, died suddenly Sunday night near his home, Shelby and Oak streets, Louisville, of heart disease caused by heat exhaustion. Mr. Renn was forty eight years old and leaves a wife. He was formerly proprietor of the Centennial saloon on Pearl, between Spring and Market streets, and for the past eight or ten years has been living in Louisville, being employed in the saloon of his brother-in-law, Henry Muchhoff, on Main near Fourteenth street...The remains were brought to this city and taken to the residence of his sister, Mrs. John Shelton, 721 Upper Sixth street, from which place the funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon.
