CAI Award Winners

Christian Academy of Indiana proudly graduated the senior class of 2017. As part of that graduation, two students were honored with the Kay Barbour Heart for God Scholarship. This scholarship was established in 2015 by the school and donors to honor the spirit and character of Kay Barbour, who established Graceland Christian School in 1969 with 11 students. The scholarship includes a one-year award of $2,500 for one girl and one boy toward college tuition. This year's female recipient is Delaney Straw, who will be attending Butler University in the fall, where she intends to pursue her doctorate of pharmacy degree. The male recipient is Alexander Nash. He will attend the University of Alabama and major in engineering. Kay Barbour is pictured with the two recipients. (photo).
