New Albany City Council hesitant over request to sell downtown lot to bank

Lot on corner of West First and West Market has been appraised at $140,000; Community Bank is interested in purchasing it for a drive-up teller service. But City Council wants to make more on it, since the lot on which new parking garage is located cost so much more. There is also concern about selling it, and then running out of room themselves..
