Free Negroes

We understand that the authorities in Clark county have determined on enforcing the law compelling free negroes to give security for their good behavior. A good deal of commotion has consequently been excited amongst the colored population of that county, and we are informed that a great number of the worst class of negroes, being unable to give the requisite bonds, are coming to this county. Would it not be well for our own officers to enforce the same provisions against this class?...
