Divorce Filed

Local Gatherings: Margaret Ziegler has filed her complaint in the circuit court for divorce from Wolfgang Ziegler. They were married July 31, 1867, and on May 20, 1888, she alleges he abandoned and has ever since lived apart from her and has failed to make reasonable support for her, although fully able to do so. She therefore asks for a divorce and the custody of the three children born of the marriage. She also alleges that when they were married his name was erroneously inserted in the license and certificate as George Seigel and George Ziegel, when his true name is Wolfgang Ziegler.
